It coincides with the release of a made-for-TV movie starring Jamie Fox as Charles, currently in production by Taylor Hackford. I had read "Brother Ray", the famous biography on Ray Charles by David Ritz, a few years ago before reading Michael Lydon's, "Ray Charles. Man and Music", and I got extremely disappointed by the first one. Ritz's book has more pages on Ray's love adventures and private life than on his music, whereas Lydon writes mostly about the music.
